What is the best WebCam that works with Windows XP Pro for under $200?

I have a Logitech Quickcam Express that I've never had a problem with, only real drawback is it's lack of features. On the upside it only costs lie $49 last time I looked

Goodlooking out.

Any others

i have a Logitech Quickcam Pro 3000. i used it with my last coputer that ran ME and it works great on my new one that has XP Pro.

I also have a Logitech QuickCam Pro 3000 and it works very nicely. The only thing I don't like about Logitech cams is that you are unable to upload to your own website; you are forced to use SpotLife (Logitech's own web hosting type server). I saw that QuickCam Pro 4000 is out and I was thinking about upgrading.

Thats what i was looking at, the 3000. I like the dark unique look, but I was wondering if it would hold up on XP. Good to know it will.

It runs great on XP, however you would have to download the latest software from www.logitech.com due to the fact they just released a new version a month or so ago and I doubt that it is included with new purchases. The software is free to download on the website.

The QuickCam Pro 4000 is available now and it does come with the latest software version. It is pretty similar to the 3000 but it has a digital zoom feature. If you are interesting in ordering one try this place:

The have it for $84 (including shipping). I ordered one Sunday night of last week and received it on Friday. Seems to work great so far. I used a 3000 for about 7 months on XP and it worked great until the vid started to randomly go dark but Logitech has a 3 year warranty so I will just send the 3000 back for replacement. I have used QuickCams for about 5 years and I think that overall they are the best cams for the money and they have been compatible with every video conferencing program that I have tried them with.

after all the horror stories I have heard about emscomputing, I will never buy from them.

I got a Logitech QuickCam Express Web, it works fine. I also tried a Creative WebCam but that didnt work for me, it did work on a friends XP box though.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
