Sometime next week I will be buying a new graphics card, the current crashes my system too much - and especially in games such as Dark Age of Camelot and Global Operations...

So I have my eyes set on a Point of View GeForce4 Ti4200 TV-Out / DVI - I can get it for around 220$(note that I'm in denmark) and that's rather cheap imo.. But I don't what the big difference is between the Ti4200 and Ti4400(except a huge price difference)..

So does anyone own that card? And how is it performing?

money

if you can spend that amount of money easily, then a 4400 is fine. if you would prefer to get more bang for ur buck i would get something based on the 4200, like the one u suggested. there is a performance difference between them but with value in mind, the 4200 is a better option.

I was under the imoression that the 4400 is better than the 4200? And the 4600 is better than the 4200 & 4400...

the 4600 and 4400 are better than the 4200...
i was merely stating my opinion about the price difference.
i just reckon that the performance difference between the 4200 and the 4600/4400 isn't justified to spend that much money extra

This sounds interesting, I am thinking about upgrading my GTS2 Pro 64mb, to either a 4200, 4400, 4600

What would I miss out on if I went for the 4200 or 4400 instead of the 4600? whats the difference?

I know the 4600 is the dogs balerics! but @300quid I cant justify spending that, plus my CPU is only 1Ghz.

with ur current system there wouldn't a huge difference between them, a 4400/4200 would be best for u...
btw do NOT get the geforce4mx, its shitehouse :)

If i were you, i would go for the Ti4400 but generally never even think about getting those cards ending with MX..

...waiting to dispose my GeForce2 MX 400...

VisionTek Xtasy Ge-Force 4 Ti-4600, they Daddy of them all!
On my list after makin my new comp.

up to u

as i said b4, it really is just up to the person and how much money they are willing to spend
just go read reviews of them and make up ur own mind...

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
