What free program will split a big video file so I can put it on a CD.

I would like to be able to play it from the CD. It is an AVI file. I have already

heard of AVI CHOP, but it says it may not work on its site. The files can be as

big as 1500MB.

its a free trial and i have had no problems with it. It also shrinks movie files pretty good atleast i think they are.

You can also use Windows Movie Maker II to convert the .avi file to .wmv which will be a much smaller file than the .avi. If the file is still too big to fit on a CD you can use Movie Maker to split the movie into as many parts as you want.

You could try VideoCharge Studio for it.

I have used tool to split big files without re-encoding! It is fine! Very quick and very good quality!
