I never thought much about it, but being mammals, I guess whales would probably get gas... and scientists actually got a picture of one here.
Gee, I can just imagine the researcher's kid talking about it in show-n-tell... "And what does your daddy do for a living, Johnny?"... "He studies whale farts!"
