Picked up a Bellsouth Westell 2200 to use with my SBC account. All is good and it now handles the PPPoe instead of XP as was the case with my twitchy Speedstream, plus it also has NAT/router capabilities.
With Zone Alarm off for testing, I'm now stealthed at all the port checking sites. The Westell is currently in 'IP passthrough' mode. This makes it a no brainer as far all my various stuff, games etc. operate without additional setup. In reading the literature I'm confused as to whether I'm fully protected in this mode. I assume since with ZA off, being stealthed means NAT is working. True?
