Welcom message (logon screen)

I am trying to change the welcome message after you type in your password in. Where is this at when using resource hacker? Any help would be appreciated. thank you

That is what I was using to do it with, but I can't find in the string table where the welcome string is used. In the UFILE in the <style resid=leftpanelss> under element [id=atom(welcome)] is the only place I see a welcome thing. But it does not have quotes. Where do I change that? thanks

Sorry I misunderstood you the 1st time. As for finding what you're looking for, I'm clueless. I haven't had the time to sit down and play around with the LoginUI yet. Hopefully someone else will be able to help you.

ok, if i understand your question correctly...

go into reshack. follow the following steps to change the word "welcome":

1. go to string table
2. go to 1
3. go to 1033
4. in #7, change the word "welcome" to "whatever word you want"
5. compile script
6. save
7. done
