how do u find what port a website is on? i need to know to add it to a proxy server we run at school so we can visit that site

default for any website is 80 ...but some do run off port 8080

99% of webpages go through port 80 (http)

if u need acess 2 a site ask the admin;)

no, i cant add port 80 to the proxy server and get it to work, isnt 80 the ie port, i need the port number the site uses i was thinkinh this site was in the 2170 area

No, the site uses port 80, just like 99.9% of all other sites (including this one).

Or are we talking about the communication port for the games on that site?

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
