webcam not in my cpmuter

I have a webcam that appears fine in device manager, but does not show up in My Computer.
I know it works, as I have tested it on Windows messenger and Yahoo.
I want to use it, to take some photos in my room, but as it is not listed under My Computer, i cannot do this.

Any help would be much appreciated

Web-Cams don't show in my computer. If you want to take pictures with it you will require an application such as Pryme

Yes, there do....at least they do on my brothers/fathers and friends pc's

mine appears in My Computer, you need to make sure you are using the WDM drivers for the device

Hmm, I didn't think they did. Last cam I had which did was a crappy philips cam which kept freezing, that was back using Windows 2000 though (olden days 😛)

not all cams do, mine does though under camera's + scanners.
