I just installed MS antispyware program and now when I go to web sites like time.com I get placeholders instead of pictrues. I am not sure if it is the program doing that or not. I disabled the program and my spysweeper program and turned off Norton Internet Security and popup blockers. How can I get the pictrues to show again?

What browser are you using?

Is it a red X? If so>>>

Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and open HOSTS file with notepad and find image.com.com to remove any gamespot problem and MSN for any msn problem and so on, u gotta use the find option.

It was reported back that the person first backed up the file then deleted it with no ill effect & the red x problem was gone.

All showed up for me. If it is happening in both browsers & you tried the above then it must be a setting somewhere.

Have you got a slow connection? Maybe the page is being timed out.

It turned out to be a host file shield and common ads site shield setting in SpySweeper ver. 3.50. I turned them off in the Shields and now I can see all the pictures. Before I could only see some of the pictures.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
