Web site or app tool to check browser config?

There is something wrong with my browser configuration (IE) and I suspect it may affect firefox too, but I think something may be wrong with my javascript or java or something.

gmail always things my browser isnt compliant so I have to use =nobrowsercheck and it loads fine. My cookie in yahoo keeps getting corrupted or something (at first the site works, but then when i navigate around yahoo it becomes corrupt). Some sites wont load properly.

Is there any site or app which can analyze my browser and tell me if something is wrong with its configuration?

hmm no that doesnt really do what I need...I think my problem may be javascript. Is there anyway to check this? or at least repair it?
