WDM Error

Everytime I start up the computer, right before the log-in screen, a System Verification error shows up:

IO SYSTEM VERIFICATION ERROR in usbhub.sys (WDM DRIVER ERROR 20e)

I'm in safe mode now but i dont know how to fix it, i tried temporarily deleting it but another driver is specified (serenum.sys). Obviously deleting them permanently isn't an option but I don't know how to fix it. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Are you running a USB Backup drive??
If you are uninstall the drivers for it and use the generic windows based.

Also make sure windows is up to date and your hardware drivers also.
