Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any programs that I can do the following in :)

1. Select a group of WAV files in a folder
2. tell the program to split them up into their LEFT and RIGHT channels and put the (left) + (right) prefix on the end of each saved channel

at the moment i'm having to go through each WAV file and split them - cooledit pro has a batch script thingie majig but i don't think it can do this

anyone know of any programs that can please? :)
thankyou

What's your sound card ?

I like Wave Studio from Creative, with it you can do a lot of things with wave files (split Left and Right channels,...), but I don't know if you can work on multiple files at once...

You could also give a try to Sonic Foundry's SoundForge 5.x, but it's a little more complicated to manipulate, in my opinion, and still I don't know if you can work on multiple files at once...

Hope I helped you a little...

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
