Goodness knows why, but this post came to my attention and I noticed it was from a newcomer and had slipped into a locked thread with no reply (least no visible one).

So out of the goodness of my heart I thought I'd make a thread for it (might be interesting anyway!)

I am aware the question may be naive so am not going to give direct and full answer, nor be cruela dn refer Tiffany directly and only to deviantart.

But I am going to suggest you look into either the marvellous "Startclock" OSNN download (not the same, but another place to put your clock!)

Also if that does nto suit I'd commend a google on Rainmeter, which I use for my similar needs (in XP!).

Last but not least be aware beginning is using an OS other than XP - you may or may not feel comfortable with that - why not post up and tell us (after all you have your very own thread I gave you here!)

MFG, I think you linked the wrong thread man, the link you provided was to the thread about the person who thought they might be being monitored etc...

Mike

thanks for corrections guys - jeez what a community! group rep hug!

wow now that is cute - Tiffany has thanked (and repped!) me but we have scarcely got to the actual answer to her question/request in this thread!

Am i right Tiffany? Or have you installed the Mandriva and clock already, in which case we need to know because it makes you very cool around these parts!

I didn't install the clock because My PC started acting slow & I realized that

the clock would take up PC resources.

Thank you all anyway for your time & effort. :)

ah yes - same reason I discarded that (coded in Vbasic, with some lines from yours truly even!).

Oh well - you must be pretty competent to have got that far! Well done!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
