Hi all,
My son infected our home network with the nimda virus. Unfortunately I happened to have our Office server home for some repair.
It was attacked and loaded with this virus. 498 files infected so far. (Its the .enc, .E@mm & .Amm(html) versions)
I'm scanning and quarantine the virus with Norton AV 02 corp.
I've got a fresh/clean back-up I no real damage done.
my question is should I reformat and reinstall Server 2000 sp3 to be safe OR will the norton clean this mess up completely?
Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
Doug
Hope this is the right place to post this.
