voodoo 5 5500

ive been looking for the latest drivers for my voodoo 5 5500, but the latest (probably best) one i hav only found is the beta 4 underground one. is there a better one out there? if so where do i get it? does it support directX 8.1? so many questions. probably no answers. thanx for any help

I have tried to play the voodoo 5500/WIN XP game...There is just no good drivers out there.


I recommend going out and buying a Geforce4(with total XP support), their are many to choose from in a wide price range. Even the least expensive model is better than you got now.

i would buy ANOTHER geforce 4 (i have 2 cards) to replace my voodoo 5, but i dont hav an available AGP slot.

There are some pci GeForce4 cards out there if you are interested. Just search of pricewatch.com and it will have a few results. I know VisionTek makes one for around $90US.

Wouldnt be my choice, but still a reasonable card.

If you dont have an open pci slot...time for a new MB, then you can get the agp.
