Anyone know of a good freeware voice dictation program. (Not just recognition of voice commands)?

If you have Microsoft Office XP, it has one built in. For Word, just make sure the language bar is visible (for Windows XP), and then select the text you want the computer to say, then click speak and the computer will read it to you.

Office XP's program is just about the best as far as recognition and errors go. I was surprised but now I am a believer.

I'm talking about dictation which works the other way - you talk and computer writes. Tried Office XP already (it's not freeware for starters) and found it highly inaccurate.

Did you spend time training Office to your voice. After about 30 minutes training I found it to be highly accurate, I would imagine with more training it could be even more efficient.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
