I wanted to install linux, but I did not want to install it on another partition, so I got VMWARE. When I try to install, the cd will boot but it will say that it could not sycrnoize, why? I tried to install xp and it worked on virtual drive, i tried 2000 but the cd would not boot (scratched anyway). How do I fix that?

It may be a bad burn. Try downloading a free Linux ISO and mounting the image off your hard disk as a VMWare CD-ROM

What version are you running? I have the latest version (3.1 Workstation) and it looks nothing like that. Make sure you got the latest from www.vmware.com (Upgrades should be free, you can use your existing serial number)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
