Visual Studio .NET

Would I be right in thinking that any program programed in Visual Studio .NET can only be run on a PC with the .NET framework installed.

I'm only asking cos I had a little program I did in Visual Basic 6, which I upgraded to Visual Basic .NET, now it only seems to run/work on PC's with the .NET framework installed.
I even programed it from scratch in Visual Basic .NET, same thing, only works on PC's with the .NET framework.

I believe that is correct. You could however, include the .Net framework in your install package.
