Visual Studio Help

I jstu started a C++ class, and reinstalled an older version of microsoft visual studio. however when i am browsing the internet i ger run time errors for visual studio. how can i turn these errors off?

Open internet options (Tools > options in IE)
then click the advanced tab
un-tick the 5th option down in the 'browsing' section.
"Display a notification about every script error" i think its called
