Is it possible to install Windows Vista w/o installing IE7? Only reason I ask is because the remote access software my company uses is not compatible with IE7, but I want to get Vista.

IE7 comes with Vista, just like IE6 came with XP and there is no way around that. However, if IE7 is the culprit, you could try another browser like Opera/Firefox or something similar.

You could also get Virtual Machine Software and use the MS provided XP Image, which will run IE6.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, the remote access software checks specifically for IE. Whenever I need to login, I have to set the default web browser to IE as it opens a few web pages and, dare I say, Mozilla doesn't work with it. It just basically hangs.

I use Mozilla as my default browser, but, like I said, I need to switch to IE to handle the remote access software.

Maybe I'll just plop in a hard drive to my Linux box and install XP on that machine for when I need to login to work. Think I got a few 30GB HDs laying around, should do the trick.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
