VISTA noob question

I have a VISTA business upgrade CD for my lappie and on it I have M$ Office, bit in the chaos that has been my life lately the key for office is lost - if I install Vista over XP Pro on the lappie I assume all apps (including Office) are lost, am I right?

IF I am right - can I use Open Orifice under Vista, or is there any prospect that I shall be able to in the future (and if so when approximately might it be expected)...

Sorry to be such a dumbass, but I really have been distracted totally by many many loops being thrown my way IRL. :dead:

It will tell you the CDKey of Windows and Office that is intalled on the PC.

Not all apps are lost, but you will find that you might have to "enable" them. It's what I had to do and all my files were fine Heck even my games survived.

Naturally if you are formatting your drive, you're going to lose the data.
