I did a clean install on a slave hard drive and it shows my old windows install of xp and the vista on startup ok, but when I do a shutdown of Vista, it just goes to a black screen and stays there. What is wrong?

Also, if I leave Vista on and don't do anything for awhile over 10 minutes it locks up.

But, so far it looks great.

I noticed with the power button, that it puts the computer to sleep. I wondered what the hell happened, then I realised it selects sleep. The arrow next to the pad lock has the other options. I have no idea how to change the function of the power button

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
