Vista and Winavi

I have upgraded to Vista x64, but am having some trouble getting Winavi to work with avi files. I keep getting this error as it begins to encode. Any idea on how to get round this. I have the latest divx and xvid codecs installed and winavi 7.7.

If not can anyone recommend a good program that works with vista x64

Have you verified with the manufacturer that this software is compatible with Vista 64-bit? If they offer 64-bit support then there is likely a different download available.

No not yet as i thought it would work in Vista

Most software for Windows Vista (and XP 64-bit) comes in two different flavors, one for 32-bit operating systems and one for 64-bit.
