visoneer 8600 Scanner

I have updraded my P.C. to Win XP. Everything works fine except my Visoneer 8600 scanner. I have gone to there web site and it states that the xp-driver will be available soon. But, I was wondering if any one has tried an alternative driver that works under xp.

A good number of us are sitting on our hands waiting for updated XP drivers for our stuff. Count yourself fortunate that they're being developed for your 8600, a lot of us have some expensive electronic nik-naks.
