ive seen a few people talking about there virtual desktop and about (msvdm) but they havent said where the got it from... does this come with winxp pro/home or is it and extra addon..

The virtual desktop is part of the XP Powertoys. There is a link to download the Powertoys on the main page for this site, right smack in the middle of the screen.
