Video files problem

I recovered my downloads partition yesterday, due to a hard disk I/O device error. I have no problems with the music files but I cannot open any of my video files. The errors in Media Player are about wrong path. Similar errors have appeared in real 1 and divx players.
Any suggestions how to fix the problem?
Thanx in advance.

You might try copying a couple problem files over to your main drive/partition and try running it from there. If the file won't copy over you may have a bad sector(s) or need to run scandisk on the hard drive.

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS
