Verizon v3c --- changing the directional keys

What is the easiest way to change the directional keys (hotkeys)? I did a search and did not find the answer I need.

the hot keys.. can be changed.. for the verizon v3c by menu, go to scroll over to settings then go to display, and go to down key, press soft key change. YOu can set it to what u want. The other ones cant be changed, only the down one can be changed.

Hmm I do not see the down key setting that you described.

well its on the v3c from verizon... .. not sure why u dont have it.. it took me a while to figure it out too.
