VCD conversion

I figured that this was a good place to ask. I've a VCD with a lot of music videos on them. (Dir en grey ^^) Anyway. Is there any possible way to convert this VCD to separate AVIs or MPEGs etc etc, so that I can add them to a Winamp playlist I have going so I can watch them at the same time I watch the rest of the videos I downloaded? (I currently have the run the VCD through Windows Media Player to watch).

Thanks!

Usually VCDs have a .DAT extension, copy those files to your harddrive (usually they are located at the "mpegav" folder on your VCD) open my computer from the menu click tools>folder options> click the view tab and uncheck "hide extensions for known file types" now you can change the file extension from . DAT to .MPEG or .AVI. after that you can check "hide extensions for known file types" back to its previous state and your done.

Easy Way:

If you're using windows xp just copy the files to your hard drive. right click one of them then select "open with" choose "windows media player" from the programs list and tick the option below (Always use the selected program to open this kind of file) and your done, no need to convert.

Hope this helps.
