I don't understand why nobody has suggested PatchXP.exe available from this site, written by andyp.

If you have an OEM version of XP. Follow the following steps:
Do a searh for any file named uxtheme.dl_ and rename it/them to uxtheme.bak,
then run PatchXP again (remeber to search for hidden files and folders too).

Try it and let me know.

It has been mentioned. I don't know if it has been picked up or not. PatchXP is so simple to use as long as you read a little first.

i dunno....kermit just gave me his uxtheme.dll and and pasted it over and poof....it worked...
