i was wondering today where the heck u would go to buy UT2004 for linux....then i looked on the box and realized the game came with the linux installer

it runs really fast compared to my other linux games like tux racer or chromium (the only other 2 open gl games i have) but still not as good as in windows, as it doesn't support real shadows, just blobs. Also the framrate is a little worse. The new ATI linux drivers finally let me run 3d apps at acceptable speeds.

Anyone else play around with this? what other differences have you found between the two versions

Not sure about this, but you have to buy UT2k4 and I think the Linux binaries are downloadable. You will still have to use your CD-KEY though. I'm not too sure about this, but that is how it works on NWN.

Hey EP! All good with me, applying for Microsoft MVP right now, should have done this a while ago.

Notifications don't work, I only found your response by coming back to hunt up some threads, if you want, give me your email address so we can keep in touch easier!

EP, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there!
