Hi,
I've got UT2003 and was running it with no probs, and installed the latest patch with no probs either. Then, I formatted my PC and did a clean install of XP Pro. Bad move! UT 2003 just kept on crashing or even rebooting about 5-10 seconds into the game, and sometimes immediately. Apparently this is quite a common problem with VIA and NVIDIA drivers, but I found a forum detailing help on it: http://www.ina-community.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=208508
This didn't work straight away for me so I got the new VIA drivers http://downloads.viaarena.com/drivers/4in1/VIAHyperion4in1445v.exe and installed that, then the new patch http://downloads.viaarena.com/drivers/others/Test_driver1.zip and it works a treat, even better than before the reformat. So, if anyone is having any problems with the game similar to what I had, try this out it worked fantastically. Hope this is of some use to someone. Cheers.
