just been reading on clanbase that apparently the UT2004 demo will be released at 8pm GMT...hope it's true...

We will be releasing the US version of the UT2004 demo today.* It will include 5 maps (AS-Convoy, ONS-Torlan, DM-Rankin, CTF-BridgeOfFate, BR-Colossus), 6 game modes (Assault, Onslaught, Deathmatch, Capture The Flag, Team Deathmatch, Bombing Run).* It will be 209 Megs so please check back later today to download it.* We'll offer the file right here
