Is there a way to have a hidden account that wont be seen on the welcome screen, but accessible another way?

I dont think so but you could use magic folders as discussed in the pron discussion listed in this group.... i assume tahts what you want a secret user for? lol

The Administrator's account is hidden from the logon screen. And you can set a password to deny access to it.
