I followed these steps to change some user accoun shit.....

-Click Start and click Control Panel.
-In the Control Panel, click the Switch to Category View link on the left side of the Window (if you're not in category view already).
-Go down the list and open the User Accounts applet.
-In the User Accounts dialog box, click on the Advanced tab.
-On the Advanced tab, remove the checkmark from the Require users to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete checkbox. Click OK.

the only prob is... when i opened user accouns... there was no advanced tab!!!

help!?!

try looking in secpol.msc under local policies security options. it will be in the list on the right :)

Make sure you're logged in as administrator too, and not power user. By the way, do you have XP Pro or XP Home? User managment isn't as advanced in Home...

nope!?!

well i went into the secpol.msc and i coulld not find it....
maybe could u gimme an exact name of it?

hmmm..... frustration.....

If you have XP Pro, (home maybe too, I'm not sure) type
Code:
control userpasswords2
and you'll get the Windows 2000 style users control panel.

I'm not really sure what your underlying problem is though, so this may or may not be what you're looking for.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
