i type "systeminfo.exe" at start/run, and it opens for a sec, i can see my system stats for a milosecond, then it automatically exits, whats up with that?

Open up a DOS window and do it

Type cmd in RUN then c:\systeminfo

:)

Run this, and you don't need a command prompt. It gives you WAY more info too.

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo\msinfo32.exe"

WAY more info too

I cant see Uptime , Install date , NIC information and Hotfix list using your suggestion ?

So i wouldnt say Way more info ... I would say NEARLY the same info except what ive listed above :D

heh oops

yer right, i didn't look closely enough. I just saw the sheer amount of info, not what was actually displayed.

after taking a closer look, the msinfo32.exe is more about reporting system problems or states.

i didn't notice b4 in the systeminfo output, it even gives you the Knowledge Base article numbers for the hotfixes. nice.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
