Hello, I recently purchased a 64 bit platform and am runnung XP, but ready for the 64 bit Vista. I am already seeing 64 bit betas from Microsoft, but does anyone know if I need to upgrade my OS to 64 to try the 64 bit betas?

Not really sure what you are asking, but you can't upgrade from a 32-bit OS to a 64-bit OS. You need to do a clean install.

i'm sure i speak for everyone when i say, you should either install vista on a separate drive partition to dual-boot between Vista and XP, or install Vista on a separate computer from the one you normally use. it's not usually a wise decision to install a beta OS as the only OS on a primary computer.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
