Hey guys,

Should I update my Bios? SISoft Sandra says so. It is 3 years old. There is an update available at the Mobo website, but everything is working most excellent since I first got it (My Mobo and Bios, that is), brand new.

if things are running fine and u don't need to update ton enable new hardware support like cpu's or something then no don't update not worth the risk if u don't need anything its offering.

Yeah, I looked at what the fixes were with the updates, and nothing is relevant with my setup. But I read somewhere that you should always keep your Bios updated, that is why I asked.

Thanks Krux.

I asked the same question, I was told if it aint broke don't fix it.

its a risky procedure and your right if aint broke dont fix it but if you have the balls to do it and sure it wont mess up then go ahead - but the consequences could be dire if things messed up

some bloke (cant think of name rite now) on here set himself a little challenge; to update BIOS with out a floppy and now hes Minus a working Mobo.

but if you got dual bios your pretty much safe:) ------> thanks gigabyte:)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
