Update Firefox

I have Firefox 1.0.1 installed on my work Max OSX 10.3.9 computer.

Firefox on my windows computer automaticly updates, why does this one not? How do I update it, without uninstalling, and reinstalling?

It doesn't do the auto-update because the 1.0 through 1.4 versions did not have the auto-update feature. It was not implemented until version 1.5. Download the newest firefox and be done with it.

Alright then, how do you uninstall a program on a mac, i'm new?
