Uninstalling Winamp

Yes, this should be simple enough....

Yet after uninstalling Winamp 3, it still leaves behind some stuff in the drop down menu, when you right click on a audio file.

I tried the software, I did not like it, and so now all I ask is that it fully uninstall itself.

How do you get rid of this stuff w/o doing a system restore ?

Just to make sure, you have restarted your system atfer the uninstall, right? If the problem persists, search the registry for any entry from winamp and delete it. winamp 2.81 is still the best, btw.

EJ

Never used Winamp myself, but I'd bet you'll find something here:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\audio\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\Directory.Audio\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers

Yea, I heard v2 was better than v3. Though I though I would give 3 a try. Guess I should have went with the older one.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
