ur cable company finding out within hours isn't totally true
I know people personally who have been uncapped for months now, and there ISP hasn't said anything. As long as u raise ur cap to another known plan, and not anything outragious, and disable SNMP, change ur modems community strings, u probably will be fine. And even if ur ISP does catch u, most just tell u not to do it again or they will cut service.😀

Well say like in comcast, if u boost ur cap from silver to gold plan, thats still a nice jump there. Your a moron if you totally uncap it (10/10) thats just asking to get caught.

think about this

their about a few 100 thousand ppl in tronto and in ottawa, and 17, 000 in barrie, guess how long it will take for the cable company to locate and find you. it is so hard to spot a person.
it might take weeks to scan and bust you. ive had my cable modem uncapped for over 1 yr. but now rogers disabled the SNMP so now i cannot uncap.

their are spoofing programs out their that will prolong your uncapping capabilities

but of course, we cant talk about it here 🙂 i got my ass chewed out for just sittin in a chan of other ppl talkin about uncapping... ISPs monitor that kinda s*** :-/ I guess they try to stop it before it happens, cuz than they know theres ways to get around there bans, everything
