I went ahead and installed this on the same HD as XP Pro and Vista after making backup images of both OS. I'm somewhat familiar with Linux, mostly SuSE which I really liked their install options which were understandable. Anyway 8.04 installed ok but it created a partitian on unused disk space on my second HD. So I have a triple boot option screen with Ubuntu. I then tried to set an option on the grub bootloader where you can change the bootup screen picture. After I enabled that I couldn't boot up anything. Thank goodness I made my backup images. While I had Ubuntu 8 going it was screaming fast with Firefox and Opera browsers. The other programs seemed quick and crisp as well. I really think Ubuntu could do a better job with their grub bootloader however.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
