The Clash vs. U2
Interesting you put that.

An irish bloke I know told me, that when the Clash played in Ireland (EIRE) 78 or 79 U2 were the support band and played inbetween sessions at a concert.

U2 got boooed, me being a massive U2 fan was not happy to hear that.

I am very sure it was the 'Clash'!

U2 did start to go very odd after Joshua Tree, Rattle n Hum was on the way down n out!

October is my favourite Album!

Well Lee, if you're near the Emerald Isle, then no doubt you heard about some other Irish Rockers, Stiff Little Fingers. u2 had to take some influence from them.

Eric Clapton vs. Stevie Ray Vaughan ( the live one )
Muddy Waters Vs. Chester Burnett (Howling Wolf)
Wes Montgomery Vs Les Paul

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
