Tweak volume louder for on board card

The volume is too soft even I turn on the volume fully. Any tweaks/tip to tweak the volume for my onboard sound card. I using the ECS KS75A AC 97 on board sound card ...any one?

Maybe try these things:

Start > Control Panel > Sound And Audio Devices

On the Volume tab click advanced (with in the Device Volume) slide everything up (except line-in and microphone).

and

Same tab, speaker settings click Speaker Volume, Max the sliders out there.

possibly :-\

Try same tab, speaker settings click advanced and mess around with different speaker set ups.
