tv capture card question

has anybody had any troubles with a tv capture card stuffing up there motherboards. i heard tv cards can damage motherboards.

my motherboard is ASUS A7V333

i was looking at the LEADTEK WinFast TV2000XP-Deluxe PCI 2.1 TV Tuner w Remote Control & FM Radio Video

has anyone had troubles with this one.

The only way it can damage you board is if:
1. You cause a static electricity discharge when you install it.
2. Install it so badly it causes a short circuit or something (VERY hard to do).
3. You feed a bolt of lightning through the signal cable.

Leadtek is a good, well known and widely used brand. I wouldn't worry.
