TuxTime

good to have the old Case___y back! =)

no, we all should be thanking you =)
so, from me, thank you =)

how about eveyone thank everyone else? that would suit the situation nicely, i think.

*gasp* xsiv must have installed his ram, bucause that uptime is down to lowly 11 minutes. not the powerful 56+ days that it was before. so how's the ram going? good?

*looks at the platter* empty! gosh you pigs!
hmm.

*gets another platter full of cookies and sets it out*

now I'm beating Casey___ wooo__!

Computer uptime: 39d 22h 12m 31s (record: 41d 4h 25m 51s)

ooh err.

Just a quick note, back on topic ... Sorry to interupt the hi-jack :D

Can everyone currently running the TuxTime client shut it down for now and/or take it out of your startup programs.
Un-fortunately the TuxTime project has been closed down until further notice, here is the current message posted on the site ...

From www.tuxtime.dk

The TuxTime Project is down.

Due to re-arrangements in rackspace at our HSP, we're sorry to inform you that the TuxTime project is closed until further notice.
The server running TuxTime will probably be placed in a temporary location, so any disturbances will be minimized. In the meantime please shut down your clients.

We're currently working really hard to find a new place for our server. So, if you're a Danish HSP/ISP with enough capacity, and would like to help the TuxTime Team by sponsoring a server co-location, please feel free to contact morten at codemonkey.dk
/Theo

Obviously sending you're uptime gains you nothing at the moment and the team have requested that clients are shut-down for the time being, until further notice.
Keep checking back at the tuxtime.dk website to see if any new arrangements have been made.

Until then, sit tight and have a merry christmas and a happy new year.

Thanx for the update SPeedY_B, I just shut mine down.

They're back

It's back :)

maj posted this over at this over at the TuxTime forums
The TuxTime Project is finally back online after more than one month of downtime. The site is back online and is using the same database as before, so it starting your old clients again should be enough.

We would like to thank our new sponsor, Galnet (http://www.galnet.dk), for their services.

on behalf of the TuxTime crew.
There is also a news post on the front page of TuxTime site explaining the downtime.

(note: my client doesn't seem to work, perhaps there are initial teething problems, or perhaps i'm inept .. guess i'll give them a week so sort things then go moan :D )

You been hanging out with EP lately

Thx SPeedY_B will check it out this weekend :)

Well, the official client doesn't seem to work here, but as i've mentioned before in this thread, there is an alternative for us Windows users, and that client does seem to work, so all is well :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
