Before that, I used Avant over IE, which is just a skin adding the features I needed :lick:

Mastershakes said:Agreed. I don't insist on using it Grandmaster. I just jump on those who bash it. I've spent years in the industry protecting the bastard child, and securing it against all kinds of threats. In a corporate environment, IE is default. Their web based work tools / applications were developped for it.
It will remain so for quite some time. It's targeted because it's used on 90%+ of all PCs.
If FF ever gets close to 30% usage globally (which it won't IMO) then it will be targeted more heavily.... and like anything with enough people firing all cylinders at it, it will reveal holes.
All the extentions you speak of - will become mainstream in IE7. Tabbed browsing in IE7 beta works the same. I do enjoy it, and my habits are slowly changing towards it.
