I'm not sure what you mean - like Vista?

Translucency using GDI+ is terrible - since it just lowers opacity and ends up with lowered legibility..

I'm just looking for the taskbar to be translucent. Not anything else. Much like Vista. I've found a few styles which work well, but I I found the transformation pack along with a different style makes the overall outcome of Windows XP look good as well as act like vista.

Well forgive me if I misunderstood.

Translucent is not transparent/less opaque.. translucency kind of implies some sort of glass or filter applied. I know of a great one, Microsoft makes it. :)

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS
