Ever get confused by local dialect or regional slang?

Well if you happen to reside in the USofA or the UK,
you could benefit from this>>>>

The American-British + British-American Dictionary

My mate (American) pointed me to it...
he says it helps him understand what us brits mean by some of our "weird" language.

It's useful no matter which side of the pond you are from.

Did many of you know these?....

Faucet = Tap
Flatware = Cutlery
Ackers = Money

Anyway, even if you did, there's loads of translations there..
So when that post uses a word you've never heard of...
try looking there......... ;)

i knew the faucet= tap one...lol.....another one i know is a flat=apartment, yay for me

hrmm I might email this to some of my american mates :p

There's words we use that aren't on there *devises secret codes* ;)

I get help by watching Guy Ritchie's movies! :p

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
