I'm with you there. Probably the toughest game I've played

Jagged Alliance 2 was a challenging game to beat. Its real time strategy, n its about this queen named Dedriana gaining power over the country; Arulco, and u have to stop her by getting back the towns influence. Inorder to accomplish this task, you are to hire a group of mercenaries, n u go from there. its a sick game.

Commandos : Behind Enemy Lines and Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty were tougher than Commandos 2: Men of Courage. I managed to finish all 3 but not without a lot of reloading. IMO they are the toughest games.
I havent played Commandos 3 : Destination Berlin yet.

Not to sure what the toughest i played. When i was 5 i beat super mario for snes and back then i thought it was hard but now i dont really play alot of games so i cant really say what is the hardest.

o wait...i think the new nascar game is prob the hardest.

I would say Teenage Ninja mutant turtles for nes. That game was really hard. Well, atleast I remember it being hard I was a little kid back then

i used to think, maybe i wasn't smart enough..thought, maybe if i get older it would get easier.

i still get stuck on the board after the damn. i cant find my way around the city.

A tough game was Counter-Strike but i beat it once.............

Actually Pac-Man was the hardiest game...Its like there is no ending but there is.

Haha, I know what you mean man. I thought almost the same thing. I could never get past the dam. I think what made it so hard was the lack of checkpoints or save points (whatever you wanna call them). So if you died then you had to start ALL over. Which was quite fruserating.

Also another game I just thought of was X-Men for GameGear. That was fun.. but hard. Once again though.. I was a little kid.

just decided to dual boot 98 with XP so i can play syndicate wars again, one of the hardest to complete games I have everplayed just wondering what everone else thinks are relaly hard games.

Toughest top 3 are:

1: commandoes: never managed to complete all of it.
2: syndicate wars: completed once or twice.
3: GPolice: damn hard escort missions.

oh man.. reminded me of Syndicate. never got round to finishing the game. can't remember if i played in on my first pc (486) or the amiga. lol
might have to go and dig for my win98 cd, and probably purchase the white label box of syndicate wars. hehe.

NFSU2 is a bit tough, I had trouble drag racing on an automatic transmission, but manual mode fixed it up (it's impossible on auto). Then the AI is getting tougher by the miniute.

Tought game, have to admit, i've never played a game that i thought was hard on the PC, perhaps the only one that may have come close was Jedi Knight2

Toughest game I ever played was Zanac.Impossible to beat without a Game Genie.

ok i want to amend my claim, Zanac made me think of a real tough game R-Type, also i think one of the best games ever made.

Anyone remember the 1st (only?) expansion they did? I can't even remember what it was called now, but I've got it at home somewhere. That was the only PC game I've ever played that was harder than Commandos. Ridiculously difficult, only managed about 5 missions and then gave up! That was 5 years ago

wasn't it behind enemy lines or was that actually the first one. and i don't think it was really a proper addon, it was a stand alone game like a commandoes 1.5 type of thing.

One game that my best friend and I burned about $50 in quarters on (over time, not in one sitting) was Metal Slug 2. We got so far and it just got so out of hand! Man I love that game!

3d tetris... my mind was blown from that third "D"... that and you ccould never tell if you ever over your drop spot, or how high you'd built

sk8 or die on NES... i still don't know how to do the half pipe

california dreams on NES... the stupid roller blade girl has to jump over a crack, banana, and like 4 feet of sand in three consecutive perfectely timed jumps that i just don't think is possible.
