THQ games

I own summoner and red faction. both of which are THQ games. The games seem to run in slow motion while in the game.
I got new radeon8500le, running XP PRO, on P3 1000mhz, 512ECC, SBLive5.1 Plat, with all the latest drivers.

It's your ATI card. They have problems with some games. Since they have their own implimentation of Direct X, they are having a hard time keeping pace with the rest of their competition.

Game makers have to code a seperate API for ATI Radeon cards. Some makers are not supporting them at all. I suggest you check with THQ, failing that, check with ATI (good luck).

Don't take this the wrong way, I am not beating on ATI, but they have a history of bad support. That is the main reason why I went nVidia.
